Comic Strip Competition
With funding from Awards for All we are running a Comic Strip Competition with our Child First partnership schools. Some amazing artwork has been produced and judging recently took place of the entries from Old Heath Community Primary School and Langenhoe Primary School. Year 10 students judged the entries and were bowled over with the quality of work produced. The winners will be announced shortly and will work with Nick Turner to turn their drawings into a professional comic strip production.

Colchester Debating Society for Young People
In partnership with Essex Youth Service and idebate we shall be running a one day workshop and consultation in September with Year 9 students from Alderman Blaxill School, Thomas Lord Audley School & Language College and Sir Charles Lucas Arts College.
Students will have the opportunity to find out more about the role of debate in society, in the classroom and through their participation and feedback we hope to develop a longer term programme of activities in Colchester Schools.
Computer Clubs for Girls
ECCUP has registed as a partner organisation for Computer Clubs for Girls.
In our role as a partner organisation we have access to support from the central team at CC4G and also from e-skills UK. In the Autumn term we will be organising a school staff briefing locally to give you the opportunity to find out more about the CC4G programme.
